He's up and away!

The little man is on the move, he now has moved up from his commando crawling to crawling on all fours and is happily mobile!

Is it the face only a mother could love? This is Oscy's latest face to pull, his 'scrunchie face', but we think its pretty cute!

Ohh to be so flexible...

new play room...

Whilst the mummy's away they aunty's will play!! Whilst we were off visiting people our beautiful aunty's set up this play area as a surprise. They did such a gorgeous job that we had to show it off, Oscy loves it! THANKYOU!!

Feeding myself lunch...

Oscar had his first 'full fingerfood meal' which we managed to capture. He has had little bits and pieces before but never a full meal for him to do himself, so we got adventurous, moved the highchair outside, and went for it! He really enjoyed doing it himself and particularly loved squeezing the avocado pieces and putting as much in his mouth as possible... all in all he did very well! We are now making it a regular lunch thing.

uh-oh here comes trouble...

Oscar is now able to move his legs and walk around as he grips tightly to some helping hands. He is still a long way off working his balance out but he is enjoying being able to "do it himself". *sigh* Where has our helpless baby gone?? (Apologies for the blurry shots)

Oscar likes to study things and people and work out how things work/move/feel/do whatever, have no idea where he gets that from... ;) hmmm... daddy?

Oscars favorite position whether in the high chair or in the carseat is kicking back with his ankles crossed, sorry its not a better picture, but I couldn't let you miss out on how cute it is even with a not so great shot :)

No Mummy, I can do it...

Oscar is loving his new found independence of doing his OWN sippy cup. He has quickly mastered doing it all by himself, and is now learning when to pull it away to take a breath!

Oscar began laughing in the back seat for no apparent reason as we were driving along, he seemed to think he was pretty funny, unfortunately I only caught the end of his funny moment but I still thought I'd share... apologies about the camera work!

Oscar is progressing with his talking and can now say "bababa" "mamama" "papapa" and "dadada" and also likes to grunt... a LOT! He has 2 new teeth to brag about too! Lots of new tricks!

Mummy finally gave in and decided to snip off Oscar's long fringe bits, it was a sad day, but we are loving the new "do".
